Radio ESO (Radio Evangile du Sud Ouest) was founded by Pastor Daniel Narcisse Kambou over 20 years ago. It transmits from a station in Gaoua which is about 250 miles south-west of the capital of Burkina Faso, Ouagadougou. Through a variety of music, drama, religious and educational programmes, Pastor Daniel and his team reach many in the area with the Gospel and have had the joy of hearing of many converts as a result of their efforts. They have built a new station at Batie, not far from where Ana van Brakel is stationed but unfortunately some of their essential funding has recently been cut and they are struggling to find new support.
Mission Africa has committed to financially supporting this project and, if possible, sending missionaries to assist with the broadcast work.
